| The DSA (formerly One Day Decorating) was founded to help others improve their skill set,enhance their practical skills, and open their creative channels while gaining confidence.In the 1980′s, JoAnne Lenart-Weary, Director and Founder of The DSA, began receiving frequent requests, “Can you teach me how to do what you do?” Beginning with consumer classes, these requests quickly led to professional classes filled with clever ideas, practical information on everything from decorating to client communication, and systems that ensured success each and every time. JoAnne quickly gained industry recognition and respect for the information she was sharing. In fact, if you took a poll of all the current training programs around the country, you would find that more than 50% of them have attended one of JoAnne’s classes.As the demand for training grew, JoAnne was delighted to bring on Carol Bass as her partner. Carol’s entrepreneurial background and decorating expertise helped take The DSA classes to new levels. As a team, they have created curriculums and training programs for IRIS, The SDP, RESA, ADE, IDS, WCAA, WFCP, and more. They and their talented team of trainers strive to bring the most up to date and comprehensive education possible through The Decorating and Staging Academy. In fact, all classes from The DSA are updated annually.

Master Professional Trainers, Sandra Racz, DesAnn Collins and Cheryl Cousins were personally invited to be a part of The DSA faculty. Each not only is a talented and delightful trainer, they continue to operate their own individual staging and/or decorating businesses.
