She appeared in full form in front of a staff member/ employee and spoke to this person, expressing how happy she was with the renovations being done on the mansion. Perhaps she was the Decorator!

Style On A Shoe-String-Light

Glass block idea draws attention at Home & Garden ShowAs a Decorator and Stager I often get strange looks from people while I am shopping and get a “light-Bulb” moment. I see something and “bing” the idea light pops on. I have been known to jump in the aisle as I form a cool picture in my head.
Well recently after Christmas I was searching for super bargains when I saw one Glass Block with the hole in it for lights. One the last one they had, 80% off, $1.97.
I decided to lay it on it’s side, use a nite lite bulb on a cord with the “clicker”. I put clear vases filled with sticks on top. I controlled the light up by sewing a Black leather strap around blocks center. The upward light is casting shadows through the sticks on to the wall.
People who know me know that I am known for the passion of looking at almost everything and thinking of ways to tweak, tip and use in a completely different way then it was intended.
I could see this idea on tables with a battery light for Weddings and/or other celebrations. It looks very dramatic but is really easy to do.
